1. How long will it take for me to receive my order?
It usually takes 1-3 days after we ship your order out! However, do take note that this time frame is just an estimation based on past history and it is still up to courier company on how fast/slow they distribute the parcels.

3. Do you ship out orders on Public Holidays?
Short answer is NO. We ship orders out daily except Public Holidays. Do note that courier services (parcel delivery) are available 7 days a week but courier office (office where your parcel needs to be dropped and processed) is not open during Public Holidays.

1. Must I create an account to make a purchase on website?
Creating an account is OPTIONAL. However, we strongly recommend you to do so because only customers with an account get to earn credit cashback / GEMS (loyalty points) that can be used on their next purchase! Also, some special promos are only available for customers with an account!
2. I don't see any credit cashback/Loyalty points in my account. Why?
Credit cashback will only be reflected in your account AFTER payment is made. If you don't see the cashback/points in your profile after making payment, please contact us on Whatsapp, or simply DM us!
3. Where can I check my credit cashback/Loyalty points?
Mobile version: Go to our website > Account > Login > Scroll down a bit and you'll see "Available Credit".
Desktop version: Go to our website > Press "human" icon > Login > Scroll down a bit and you'll see "Available Credit" on the right column.
4. I placed an order on website but I want to add more, what can I do?
You can contact us using Whatsapp OR DM us to specify which item(s) you want to add on! Make payment using online banking, and we'll add the item(s) into your order!
5. What is "Open Box"? Is there such service provided at Pineapple Gems?
Open Box is for people who wish to get multiple items on separate days. This way, you can potentially save on shipping fees if you cumulatively spend a minimum of RM100 (West Malaysia); RM150 (Sabah Sarawak)!
We support Open Box and can keep your order for up to 1 month from your first purchase, please make sure to indicate "Open Box" in your remark before making payment. For subsequent purchases that you want to include in your Open Box, please Whatsapp/DM to inform us so we can make amendment to the shipping fee before you make payment. IMPORTANT: It's compulsory to pay for shipping fee on your first purchase (if applicable). Do take note, your order will be shipped out automatically once the 1 month time is up.
6. What is gold plated jewelries?
Gold plated means the jewelry is coated with a layer of genuine gold to give it a longer lasting effect.
7. Will gold plated jewelries tarnish?
Gold plated jewelries last longer than non gold plated ones, they're tarnish resistant for as long as the gold plating is intact.
8. How long can gold plated jewelries last?
The duration varies according to how you take care of the jewelries. Even though they're plated with genuine gold, it's also a fact that the layer of gold is thin and will eventually wear off if proper care is not taken to preserve the plating.
If you take good care of them; avoid getting in touch with water, perfume, lotion etc, you'll see them in their best state for a long time!
9. Will sterling silver tarnish?
Yes, sterling silver will tarnish. If you're wondering why is it so expensive when it does tarnish, it's because sterling silver is sensitive skin friendly and it can be polished with polishing cloth to restore it back to its former luster. Sterling silver jewelries are also very soft and bends easily, so extra care must be taken when and after wearing it.
10. Can I wear them into the shower?
Short answer is NO. We do not recommend wearing any jewelry into the shower if you want them to last a long time. Any kind of jewelry (including precious metal like gold and silver), when worn daily into the shower WILL lose their shine and luster eventually. The only difference is that precious metal can be polished back into their former luster and copper/brass jewelries can't be restored.
11. What about stainless steel jewelries? Can I wear them into shower?
Technically you can. It won't rust but we still don't recommend it. Here's why > Stainless steel jewelries normally will be plated with color/real gold/real silver to give it a nice, shiny finishing. If you wear it into shower daily, the plating will eventually fade and the natural color of stainless steel will be revealed and it's not gonna look shiny and new. It will look dull and lack of life. So if you want your jewelries to look new for a long time, take care of them!
